Process.
Showing my design decisions clearly, through from research to ideation and prototyping. Using evaluation and product testing.
Using previous work experience and university placement year.
Ideation.
Design ideation, involves idea generation and exploration. It includes brainstorming, sketching, mood boards, and research to spark inspiration leading to unique problem-solving. By reverting to the design spec, it helps to translate abstract ideas into designs that connect with audiences.
Prototyping.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
Testing.
Product testing is vital to ensure top quality. Testing for durability, safety, and user experience. Evaluating against design specifications and getting target users to ensure it has been designed in the best way.
Physically interacting with the product can be the most efficient way to quality control designs and prototype. Especially when it is a user centred piece of design.
